We have folks here visiting from the states, and we just returned from one of my most FAVORITE places
Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica (located on the Caribbean side)
We hired a driver to take 7 of us on the 4.5 hr journey.
If you are deciding on where to live (or vacation) in Costa Rica,
I recommend that everyone go to Puerto Viejo,
at least once!
