A Tale of 2 Parties!
What a wonderful way to ring in the new year.
We were invited to New Year's Eve dinner at the home of our Tica friend Elena who we met on the flight from SJO to LAX in May. We enjoyed turkey and all the trimmings with her husband Paul and their family. What a deliciously lovely way to kick off the evening.
After dinner we taxied to another party, given by an expat friend over on the San Isidro ridge where we partied USA style and ushered in the New Year.
Life doesn't get any better than this!
