For those of you following our progress this post was done on June 1st but it looks like I only posted it on the Facebook page. However for the sake of continuity I want to have it on the blog as well.

And to celebrate a little more. Lavanson got his número de Expediente yesterday (exactly 2 years to the date that we arrived in Costa Rica). Happy 2 year anniversary to Lavanson!! He no longer has to leave the country every 90 days. This is the initial step for applying. You still have to wait for final approval which could take anywhere from a few months to a year.
And yes, he beat me, but to be fair, he started researching on 4/15 and I had my 1st meeting with my atty on 5/15, so "technically" he hasn't won just yet
