We are beginning the holiday celebrations. Our tree is up and the house is decorated. We've already hosted friends here on 4 occasions. The rain has been ongoing so we have not gotten to spend as much time as we wanted to outside, but we're learning to enjoy our living room (which we NEVER used). So all is good!
Our last guest was Martina, who owns a hostel way over in Drake Bay. She is a very old friend of the family (which I had never met). She visited on Saturday and we had a great time.
She brought us these fancy (yummy) sweets from a bakery over in Escazu.
Last week we took a lot of pics of ourselves and the dogs, so I am going to be posting a new pic (or 2) everyday through the end of the month.
Next week starts the real festivities around here. We have been invited to several parties and even have an invite for New Year's Eve!
