One of the biggest challenges we have is figuring out where to live in Costa Rica.
I am one of those people who is very effected by weather so it's important that I find a climate where I can be happy. That will be part of the purpose for making our due diligence trip in the spring.
Weather in Costa Rica is dependent on where you are and what time of the year it is.
They say you can find just about any type of weather you prefer in Costa Rica.
and here's why
Costa Rica has 12 Climate Zones
Located in the tropics, Costa Rica has twelve climatic zones varying from hot and humid to cold and frosty. The temperatures are mostly determined by the elevation and other geographical factors. There are two major seasons that exist in this tropical paradise, these being the dry season (lasting from December to April) and the rainy season (from May to November).
I'll be looking for pleasant temperatures (70-80) but as little rain as I can find :)
