Happy Thanksgiving - Our Life in Costa Rica Yr #2

Hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday with family and friends!

We spent a lovely day celebrating with some friends over on El Cajon, the ridge opposite ours.

In the interest of time, today I am posting some photos from our gathering yesterday, in part because;
1. We need to keep track - this is PARTY #1😎

2. I want to showcase the beautiful home of our expat friends (and seasoned veterans) Dave & Marcia. They have been in Costa Rica about 12 yrs.  They built the beautiful home in the photos below and shipped their belongs to Costa Rica from the states (I think they are form Michigan). They are now applying for citizenship.

3. On Monday I am going to post the 1st of a 4 part FAQ series. Dave is the person who supplied me with all the information. I read over it and found it extremely helpful, so I am want to share it.

4. My FAQ Series "What you should know before you move to Costa Rica" will include
Part 1 - To Bring your household belongings to Costa Rica or not
Part 2- Estimating the size of the container you will need
Part 3 - Crating paintings for shipment
Part 4 - Should you import your own vehicle or buy one in Costa Rica (this one surprised me so you might be really interested to read)

It all starts on Monday.

Enjoy the rest of your holiday!

Another Fantastic view

 This is the 1st football I have seen all season, despite paying $125 for NFL Game Pass (which did not work and they refused to refund my money!) Another reason to dislike the NFL :)

We even had turkey which is hella expensive in Costa Rica!

We can't see their house from ours but you can see our house from their house -- just not so good in this photo

See ya Monday!!!
